Parents!
I’m back in class today. We’ve started our Final Project, and I’m boom operating for a script called “As Ghosts”. It’s about a war veteran with Alzheimer’s, and it’s pretty beautiful. I’m working with who I consider to be some of the strongest people in class, so I’m really excited to see how it turns out.
I’m extremely sick right now, btw :( Crazy cough, crazy headaches, stuffy nose, sore throat, body aches, the whole shebang. I really shouldn’t have come to class today, but I didn’t want to miss the first day of final project. I can’t wait to get out of class so I can sleep alllllll day.
The weather this week in Florida is prrrrretty nice. Today will be the coldest day, only reaching about 45 degrees, but it’ll be back in the 70’s by the weekend. I remember last year, I started tanning by late January, so I’m definitely planning on purchasing a lounge chair in the next few weeks. (Because I don’t think I can get away with tanning at Whisper Lake anymore…) Actually, who knows? Maybe they have no idea that I’m the one who sent the e-mail. Besides, it’s not like they were concerned enough to answer. Hmph.
I also want to thank you guys again for an amazing break. You always make my time home so special, and our Christmas day is always one of my favorite days of the year. I love you!
I had a great time in Charlotte as well. My favorite part was finally meeting all of Larry’s friends. They were all so hilarious and welcoming! On New Years, I laughed so hard and for so long that by morning my face was sore, and seemed to be in a permanent smile.
Spending time with Larry’s family was so wonderful. We had dinner one night with Ally and Jordan and it was so exciting talking to them about the wedding, and comparing stories of how we all got together. Grace knows how to say “Larry and Tricia” and it was awesome hanging out with her NOW as opposed to last year, when she just looked at me and cried.
Ooh! Gotta go, I have to do a class thing right now. Love you!
